Miniature Australian Shepherds can grow between 13-18 inches tall, and weigh anywhere from 15-35 pounds. The breed standard states that Minis may not exceed 18 inches at the shoulder.

Mini Aussies are highly intelligent and energetic: the perfect mixture for being easily bored. This can easily be fixed by keeping your Mini occupied! Miniature Australian Shepherds should have their coats brushed twice per week in order to minimize shedding. Daily exercise, obedience training, and task to reward based interactions are all fantastic for the breed.
